Kindermusik for School - Aged Children
In this sequential program, children explore the building blocks of music and are introduced to pre-keyboard instruments, string and wind instruments. Kindermusik For the Young Child broadens and deepens the child's introduction to the fulfillment and excitement of musicianship. This is the perfect pressure-free preparation for private instrument instruction!
- Ages: 5 to 7 years.
- Participants: Each child accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
- Class Length: 60-75 min. class weekly. Four sequential semesters available.
- Max. Class Size: 10 to 12 children.
- Features: singing & vocal development, creative movement & dance, focused listening, beat & rhythmic development, creativity, playing simple percussion instruments, exploring musical concepts, rudiments of reading & writing music, ensemble development.
- At-Home Materials: Folder & Games Bag, Family Songbook, Home CD, Attendance Stickers, Music At Home Pages, Activity Pages, Music Games, a Glockenspiel (semesters 1 & 2), a 2-string Dulcimer (semester 3) and a Recorder (semester 4).
